The Micro credential: Mediation at Maynooth University School of Law and Criminology facilitates participants in developing the knowledge and skills that underpin the mediation of conflicts and disputes.

The course runs from 14 September, 2022 –  1st October, 2022

Through blended learning that employs online and live classes, practice sessions and peer feedback, this module will provide participants with a structured learning environment. Following completion of the module, these credits may be accepted as part of relevant School of Law and Criminology postgraduate programmes, such as postgraduate diplomas or masters.

Micro credential: Mediation at Maynooth University School of Law and Criminology

Mediation skills are a desirable skill in a range of professions, including for those working in human resources, trade unions and any role where conflict may need to be resolved. Successful completion of this course will provide participants with the opportunity to undertake a professional assessment of their skills.  Successful completion of this assessment allows participants to apply to join the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland (MII).

 


Maynooth University is a constituent university of the National University of Ireland. It is Ireland’s youngest university. It was founded in 1997 from the secular faculties of the now separate St Patrick’s College, Maynooth, which was founded in 1795.
