The DARE & HEAR Application Information Online Sessions and Presentations are set to take place on Saturday 8th January 2022.

Both webinars provide an opportunity for students, parent(s)/ guardian(s) and guidance counsellors to meet members of the DARE and HEAR teams across the higher education sector online and find out how the schemes work.

Welcome to the Disability Access Route to Education website!

The Disability Access Route to Education (DARE) is a third level alternative admissions scheme for school leavers whose disabilities have had a negative impact on their second level education.

The Higher Education Access Route (HEAR)  is a college and university scheme that offers places on reduced points and extra college support to those who are resident in the Republic of Ireland and underrepresented at Higher Education due to their socio-economic background.

Register for one or both webinars below.

  • DARE Session – Sat 8th Jan 10am – 12pm
  • HEAR Session – Sat 8th Jan 1pm – 3pm
