UCD QQI-FET Social Sciences & Law Virtual Event 2021 is for students in a QQI-FET course, considering applying for undergraduate courses in UCD: Law, Business and Law, Social Sciences, Social Policy & Sociology, Economics or Psychology.

This virtual event is for students who are currently studying a QQI-FET course and are considering applying tor any of the following degrees:

  • DN700 Social Sciences
  • DN750 Social Policy & Sociology
  • DN710 Economics
  • DN720 Psychology
  • DN600 Law
  • DN610 Business & Law

Join a Zoom webinar on 12th January from 10:30am-12:20pm. Zoom link will be circulated on Friday 8th January 2021.

Agenda:
10:30am – 11.00am UCD Social Sciences Undergraduate Degrees Overview (DN700 Social Sciences , DN750 Social Policy & Sociology, DN720 Psychology and DN710 Economics). Includes  Student panel – opportunity to ask QQI-FET award holders about their UCD Social Sciences degree.

11am-11:25am – Dr Graham Finlay, UCC School of Politics and International Relations. Taster Lecture in Politics and International Relations.

11:30  – 12pm Accessing Law (DN600) and Law & Business (DN610)- Dr Máire Ní Shúilleabháin will discuss the Law degree programmes.

12pm- 12:30pm – UCD Access and Lifelong Learning- Catherine Tormey – Progression routes to UCD, financial supports including scholarships and Supports offer by Access Centre to QQI FET students
