TY ICT Summer Camp at TU Dublin

The TY ICT Summer Camp hosted by the School of Computer Science at TU Dublin (Grangegorman campus) is a hands-on, in-person camp running from Monday, 11 May to Thursday, 14 May (10:00 am–16:00 pm), designed to introduce students to computer science in a fun, creative, and practical way.

During the camp, students will:

• Explore how apps, AI, and smart devices work
• Learn about AI in everyday life, including its benefits and limitations
• Work in teams to design solutions to real-world challenges
• Engage with topics such as ethical and responsible technology

The programme focuses strongly on AI literacy, creativity, and problem-solving, and is suitable for students with no prior coding experience.

Students will also get the opportunity to experience a university learning environment, collaborate with peers, and present their ideas in a final project showcase.
