The aim of the Green REIT Scholarship at TU Dublin is to provide financial assistance to passionate and motivated students who will make their mark on the construction sector. Students interested in applying for the Green REIT Scholarships will be asked to demonstrate their interest, passion and academic excellence in the field of Property Economics, Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics.

Scholarship Details

  • A Scholarship of €3,000 will be available to one student from each of the four years of Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics (DT111) or Property Economics (DT110).
  • A final year award of €2,000 to the overall most improved student of either DT111 or DT110.

Scholarship Criteria

Students interested in applying for the Green REIT Scholarship will be asked to submit an application with a personal statement demonstrating why they should receive the Scholarship. Applications will be assessed under the following criteria:

  • The impact that the scholarship would have on you
  • Your interest and passion in Property Economics/Quantity Surveying
  • Examples of problem solving skills and how you overcome obstacles
  • Career goals and desire for impact

 Award Criteria

One award will be presented to a final year student of either DT111 or DT110 based on academic excellence, performance and overall improvement. Students will be nominated by academic staff in the School of Surveying and Construction Management and will be shortlisted for the award by a panel decision.

Application Process

  • To apply please complete the Green REIT Application Form and personal statement 
  • Submissions should be made by email only to foundation@dit.ie and must be in one document. Please ensure you receive acknowledgement of your application email within 24 hours
  • Closing date is Friday 5th of October at 5pm. Applications received after this time cannot be accepted.
  • A short list of candidates will be selected and invited for interview on Tuesday 16th  of October
