Interested in studying IT but not sure what area you’d like best? Never fear, Griffith College Dublin is offering students the chance to attend free IT workshops designed to give students an overview of the computer science courses available at the college.

As many students will be aware, IT has been earmarked as one of the fastest-growing sectors in the Irish economy. Job opportunities are on the increase while the supply of skilled IT workers is currently failing to meet this demand. The Griffith workshops will also cover some of the key areas of interest in the industry at the moment.

Students from transition year to sixth year are invited to attend the workshops, which will take place from June 23 to June 27 (note that the Mobile Application Development workshop is already booked out, though there are still spaces available on the Games Development workshop).

The workshops will take place from 10am to 3pm at Griffith College, South Circular Road, Dublin 8.
