The Pearse College Of Further Education aims to help entry into a career in engineering through recognised apprenticeships or through third level courses elsewhere. The course has been quite successful for participants over the years frequently leading to immediate employment in the engineering industry.

QQI Level 5 Award in Engineering Technology (5M2061)

Duration

1 year – September to May (full-time)

Entry Requirements

Leaving Certificate or equivalent exam, although consideration will be given at interview to any well motivated student. Mature students are particularly welcome.

Third Level Links/Progression

This is recognised by DIT and other Institutes of Technology in Engineering Courses for alternative entry qualification. We have a close link with the Institute of Technology, Tallaght. Our students have been particularly successful at third level. For more information, click here

Course Charges

€300 or €250 (with valid Medical Card).

Pearse College of Further Education caters to those who have recently completed their Leaving Certificate Examinations. The College is a part of the CDETB.
