Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Address to Third-Level Students in Ireland will take place on Friday morning 17th November 2022 via a live video address. This will be followed by an in-person discussion on democracy, EU support for Ukraine, and European values led by the German Ambassador to Ireland, Cord Meier-Klodt, and the Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ireland, Filip Vurm.

 

The event is one of the simultaneous satellite events being held in Higher Education Institutes across Ireland.

The live stream will begin from 12.45 pm, ahead of President Zelenskyy’s live video address at 1 pm. The post-address will begin at approximately 1.50 pm and will not be live-streamed or recorded.

The event is co-hosted by the Schuler Democracy Forum in the Trinity Long Room Hub Arts and Humanities Research Institute and Trinity Research in Social Sciences (TRiSS) on behalf of the Embassy of Ukraine to Ireland.
