Maynooth University GAA Scholarship Programme is now open to incoming first year applicants for the 2021/2022 academic year. Maximise your playing potential while creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Maynooth University is committed to the development of sporting excellence at Maynooth University. In 2020 the University awarded over 150 first year sport scholarships.

The application deadline for a Sports Scholarship at Maynooth University is 1st April.

Scholarships are awarded for both undergraduate and postgraduate students in Basketball, GAA, Golf, Rugby and Soccer.

Other Sports: Prospective students with proven or perceived potential to perform at international level in their chosen sport can apply for up to 60 CAO points concession towards their MU course of choice (with the exception of Primary School Teaching, which requires an additional process). No bursary is offered, but funding is available to MU students with national representative honours to attend training camps and international competition.
