Female students interested in exploring careers in technology will have an opportunity to meet industry professionals and discover different career pathways at HERo in Tech 2026, taking place at the Green Isle Hotel, Newlands Cross, Dublin 22, on Thursday, 5 November.
Organised by FIT (Fastrack into Information Technology), the event aims to showcase the opportunities available to women in the technology sector. It will bring together leading companies, industry experts and female role models to share their experiences and introduce students to the range of careers available across the industry.
The programme will highlight areas including cybersecurity, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and software development, helping students gain a better understanding of the skills and career opportunities associated with these fields.
Attendees will have the chance to engage directly with participating companies, hear from people working in technology and ask questions about entering the sector. The event is also designed to introduce students to career options they may not have previously considered, while providing insights into the experience and skills employers value.
Registration is now open to schools and female students, with free places available. HERo in Tech offers an opportunity to explore the technology sector, learn from industry professionals and consider future education and career choices.
