It takes a special skill set to work in hair and make-up for the film & TV industry. If it’s a sector you’d like to train or work in, you’ll love this opportunity. Ennis International Fantastic Filmfest is offering Hair & Make-up Artistry for Film & TV Workshop for Teenagers, a 45-minute interactive introduction to hair and make-up techniques for film and TV industry. These exciting and practical workshops will appeal to teenagers

There are three 45-minute workshops starting at: 10am, 11am and 12noon on Sat, October 29, 2022.

Places on these workshops are free and available on a first come first served basis, with a maximum of two tickets per booking.

Featured Course

This one year course is designed for students who wish to pursue a career as a maku-up artist in the Fashion, Media and Film Industry. This course combines the range of practical skills and theoretical subjects necessary to enable students to specialise in this field.

Workshops in various industry related skills will be incorporated into the course. Students will supplement their studies with work experience in a relevant area.

Career Opportunities:
Make-up Artist in the Fashion, Theatre, Film and TV Industries, Private Make-up Consultant, Cosmetic Consultant/Counter Make-up Artist, Consultant Make-up Artist for Cosmetic Houses.
Minimum Entry Requirements:
Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent standards of education. A proven ability in Art would be an advantage & students should have an artistic flair. Mature students may be granted exemptions. All entry is subject to interview.
