Throughout the lifecycle individuals dip in and out of volunteering at various stages of life. Now more than ever solidarity and community efforts have been shown as key for us all to thrive. Yet learning to be a volunteer takes significant investment – is this the role of the non-profit sector and education to ensure volunteering remains a key part of the lives of all in a democracy? Come along for a half an hour lunch break  on this fascinating topic!
