Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) will host an on-campus CAO Information Morning on Saturday, 17 January 2026, from 10:00am to 1:00pm, offering prospective students and parents an opportunity to explore courses, supports, and application pathways at the Institute.
The event is designed to help those considering applying through the Central Applications Office (CAO) gain a better understanding of what DkIT has to offer. Attendees will be able to meet academic staff, current students, and support teams, as well as learn more about the wide range of undergraduate programmes available at the Institute.
Visitors will also receive guidance on the CAO application process, student life at DkIT, and the academic and personal supports available throughout their studies. The Information Morning provides a valuable chance to ask questions directly and get first-hand insights into studying at DkIT.
As part of the day, DkIT will incorporate its DARE and HEAR Information Day, allowing eligible applicants to meet one-to-one with DARE and HEAR practitioners. These sessions will give students the opportunity to discuss their applications, understand the supports available, and gain clarity on how the schemes operate at DkIT.
The event is particularly popular with applicants from Northern Ireland, who are keen to learn more about their routes into higher education at DkIT and the supports available to them.
Attendance is free, but pre-booking is required, and visitors are asked to select an arrival time when registering to help manage numbers on the day. All attendees must book tickets in advance to secure entry.
