You will be required to pay a fee of €60 for an online application up to this date. No further applications will be accepted for the 2021 academic year after May 1st at 5.15 pm.

CAO 2021 Timeline: Late CAO Applications
It is important to note when making a late application that individual Higher Education Institutions may have restrictions on late applications, for example, some Institutions may not consider late applications from certain categories of applicant. In particular, mature applicants, and those presenting qualifications other than recently taken EU school-leaving examinations, should check the relevant Institution’s website before making a late application.

The CAO premises are temporarily closed due to the government measures introduced to control the spread of Covid-19.

The Central Applications Office processes applications for undergraduate courses in Irish Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Decisions on admissions to undergraduate courses are made by the HEIs who instruct CAO to make offers to successful candidates.
