Students with disabilities who are considering their options after second level education can get advice and information at AHEAD’s Better Options 2026 webinar on Thursday, 1 October.
The free online event will take place from 7pm to 9pm on Zoom and will provide an opportunity for students, parents, teachers and guidance professionals to learn more about planning an education journey.

Better Options is designed for second-level students with disabilities exploring their options after school, as well as people with disabilities considering further education. The webinar will also be relevant to parents and other adults supporting young people with disabilities, along with teachers and guidance professionals.
Attendees will hear advice on planning their education journey and have the opportunity to learn from students with disabilities about their own experiences and education options.
The webinar will also provide information about the DARE scheme, helping attendees learn more about an important consideration for students planning their route into further and higher education.
