The aim of this course is to produce computing graduates with the skills, knowledge and competencies in telecommunications and networks, software engineering , multimedia and cloud computing. This course is designed to produce graduates with the skills required to operate as a first line information technology support person in a wide range of industry and business environments. The course comprises both taught modules and credits for relevant work experience.
Students will need access to a laptop.

The flexible Higher Certificate in Electronic Engineering enables prospective students to progress to a Level 6 National Certificate in Electronic Engineering in a timeframe approximating to current full time delivery, but with significantly higher levels of participative flexibility, depending on their circumstances and capabilities.
The first year of this general entry course is a common year and students study the same fundamental modules with elements of hardware, software and electronic principles.
The Engineers Ireland fully accredited programme meets the academic requirements for the status of Higher Certificate (Level 6) in Building Engineering.
