On Thursday, 8 September, the Central Applications Office (CAO) issued 85,894 Round One Offers to 57,296 CAO applicants
Today, 4,027 applicants will receive 5,156 offers for third-level places through the CAO. This “Round Zero” of offers go to certain categories of applicant who are not competing with those awaiting 2022 examination results or who are assessed on other criteria
The 2022 CAO offers season will commence on 7 July at 10am

The Central Applications Office (CAO) is emailing all applicants who applied to CAO by 1 February this year. This email is referred to as the Statement of Application Record email.

If you haven’t yet completed or applied for undergraduate courses in Irish Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) for September/October 2022 entry, please note that the closing date for CAO late applications is 1st May, 2022 at 17:00.
Applicants should note that 15th March at 5pm is the latest date for HEAR/DARE supporting documentation to arrive in CAO.

CAO applicants should be aware that 1st March is the closing deadline for amending course choices, completion of mature section of application form & final completion of online HEAR/DARE forms
On Friday, February 11, 2022 the CAO sent an email to all applicants to remind them that there are particular sections of the application form that must be complete and correct no later than 1 March at 5pm.
The CAO normal application deadline closed at 5pm last Tuesday, 1st February. The application figure to this deadline was 78,162.
The Central Applications Office has said that it received 65,535 CAO Applications by the close of the early, reduced-fee deadline was 65,535.
The registration date for Hpat-Ireland 2022 is 5.25pm, 21st January with a fee required of €152.80.
The CAO Discounted Application Fee is this Thursday, 20 January.
