Third-level & PLC Qualifications & Certification - Doctoral Degree

A Doctoral Degree falls at Level 10 on the National Framework of Qualifications. You need an Honours Bachelor Degree to enter a doctoral programme. In some disciplines, a Masters Degree is also preferred. Doctoral programmes are between three and four years in duration. Students can study for a Doctoral Degree at Institutes of Technology, with Quality and Qualifications Ireland, and at Universities.
