Aims
The programme aims to provide learners with all the skills and knowledge necessary to work as healthcare assistants in hospitals, nursing homes, day care centres and in home care.
Entry Requirements
A minimum Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate standard of education or equivalent education or experience. Proficiency in English language.
Continuous Assessment
Learners must complete 240 hours’ work experience in a suitable healthcare setting which might be a nursing home, hospital or day care centre.
