Pre-University Business Law



This one-year course prepares students for entrance into law and arts degrees in Irish universities and colleges.
It also prepares students to work both in a legal environment in Ireland and abroad as well as in the legal departments of the business world.
This law course option is available with additional modules in Business Administration, Applied Economics and
Accounting Manual and Computerised. This course will also help those who want to study legal, business or combination courses in universities.

Carear PathThere are places on Law and Legal Studies degrees in UCC, DCU, TUD City Campus/Tallaght, Maynooth University incl. St. Patrick’s College Maynooth, South East Technological University Waterford / Carlow, NUIG, DBS, Shannon College, Atlantic Technological University Letterkenny. There are now over 175 places in First Arts in Maynooth University as well as places in UCD, DCU, UCC, Mater Dei and other universities for graduates who hold a QQI qualification in Legal Studies. There are also other opportunities in law or legal studies programmes in third level colleges all around Ireland and in England. We have, for example, a very close link with Bangor University in Wales. There are also opportunities in travel and tourism, European administration, local heritage concerns as well as in the public sector and business world through insurance, banking, or international trade.
