Medical Administration
Course Overview
This is a long-running Medical Administration course and has a good history of students gaining employment. It provides students with the necessary IT and administrative skills together with medical terminology to work in administration in a medical, dental or healthcare setting. Students are also given the option to study Legal Practice and Procedures which will further enhance their job opportunities. It is also an excellent pre-university option for students wishing to study at third level colleges.

Carear Path | Careers and Opportunities Graduates are successful in gaining employment in medical practices, hospitals, dentists, civil service, public sector, solicitors’ offices, local authorities, financial services industries or any business requiring a high level of administrative skills. Students who have attained their full QQI Level 5 award may have an opportunity to progress to Marketing with Event Management, Dental Studies or the Health Service Supervisory Management course at Marino College. In addition, students who are interested in further study can apply through the QQI link scheme to progress to Higher Education in a third level college.
