Furniture Design and Making

This programme provides for students who wish to develop practical cabinet making skills. It aims to familiarise students with the work environment of the building industry and prepare them for the world of work as furniture and cabinetmakers. The FÁS ‘Safe Pass’ legal requirement for the building industry will form an optional part. The award is linked to third level institutes for students who wish to pursue higher education.
