CK 731 Mature Applicants Intellectual Disability Nursing (Restricted)

CK731 Intellectual Disability nurses work closely with people with an intellectual disability and their families throughout their lives as advocates, practitioners, educators and facilitators. As members of an interdisciplinary team of therapists, clinicians, teachers and medical personnel, ID nurses work in a person-centred way to empower clients to achieve their life goals. Students gain wide-ranging experience in one of Ireland’s foremost service providers, in community, residential, activation, schools, workshops, day, respite, retirement and acute care services.
