Entry Requirements | Applicants must have reached the current statutory school leaving age (16+). Applicants must hold a QQI Level 5 Major Award or equivalent in a related discipline. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential, including verbal and written command of the English language. Common European Framework B2 or equivalent required. Garda vetting is a requirement for this programme and participation is subject to a satisfactory outcome of the Garda vetting process. Experience working or volunteering in a social, vocational, youth, sports or voluntary organisation is an advantage but not a necessity. Non-EU/EEA applicants must have permission to work in Ireland. Mature applicant route available for applicants aged 23+. Additional Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Carear Path | The successful completion of the QQI Level 6 award in Social and Vocational Integration will enable applicants to work independently and or take responsibility for the work of others in providing a range of services in a social and vocational rehabilitation context. In addition to the major award; workshops on counselling will be provided on the programme. |
