TUDublin City Campus Learning, Teaching & Technology Centre (LTTC) are hosting its Annual Higher Education Policy Seminar Series entitled, ‘Reflecting Back & Looking Ahead’ TU Dublin Higher Education Policy Series 2021.

This year’s seminar consists of a series of six Higher Education policy morning webinars (fully online) with speakers from The Higher Education Authority (HEA), Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI), IBEC, The National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching & Learning, TU Dublin, UCC, Maynooth University and more TBC.

The series’ theme is ‘Reflecting Back & Looking Ahead’ and speakers will be exploring themes such as: National Approaches to Strategic Planning, The Sustainable University, Academic Integrity and Contract Cheating, The Enhancement of Teaching & Learning, Quality Enhancement, Blended and Online Learning/EU Digital Learning Policies, & The formation of Ireland’s first Technological University.

Webinars will take place between 10:30 and 11:30 AM each Tuesday morning between January 12th and February 16th (with some afternoon panels) – there are additional afternoon panels (between 12:00 and 13:00) on 26th January and 2nd February (with more TBC).

26th Jan –Quality Enhancement Brian Bowe, Head of Academic Affairs & Assistant Registrar, TU Dublin + Afternoon session – Student Engagement in QA Process, Speakers to be confirmed.

2nd Feb – Perspectives on Blended Learning & EU Digital Learning Policies, Frances Boylan, Head of eLearning Support & Development, TU Dublin + guest speaker TBC +Plus Afternoon Session on Academic Integrity, Deirdre Stritch, Manager of Approval and Monitoring, QQI & Kevin O’Rourke, Strategic Projects Coordinator, LTTC, TU Dublin

9th Feb – Teaching & Learning for Student Success, Terry Maguire, Director of the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching & Learning in Higher Education + Afternoon Session on Sustainability, Speaker TBC

16th Feb – Strategic Planning for Ireland’s First Technological University, Mary Meaney, Registrar and Deputy President, TU Dublin
