NUI Galway has announced the return of its NUI Galway Campus Tours. A team of Student Ambassadors will guide a small group of visitors in a walking tour around the grounds of NUI Galway to view the campus facilities, locations of academic buildings and student services and to experience what it would be like to study at our beautiful riverside campus.

Campus tours will take approximately 40 minutes, with an additional 20 minutes at the end for you to chat to NUI Galway’s student ambassadors and ask any questions you may have.

When: Guided Campus Tours will run every Friday at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. The tours and bookings will be closely monitored and additional tour times will be added if demand levels are sufficiently high.

The number one priority is to keep you and student ambassadors safe, therefore, therefore we have a number of safety measures in place:

  • Booking is required (min 48 hours in advance).
  • The campus tours will be held externally. Access to buildings is not possible at this time.
  • The number of visitors participating in one tour will be limited.
  • The number of visitors per booking/pod will be limited to four per booking.
  • NUI Galway is anticipating a high volume of interest in the tours. Places will be confirmed on a first-come, first served basis.
  • Visitors and student ambassadors will be required to wear a mask. Hand sanitiser will be available, but please bring along your own where possible.
  • Completion of a COVID-19 questionnaire will be required on the day of the tour.
  • Limited ‘Pay & Display’ parking is available on campus. Further details will be sent to those who book a place on a tour.
  • Campus tours may be withdrawn in the event of changing public health advice.

Upon booking, further instructions relating to the measures above will be sent to you. Booking form available here.
