Building the Future 2021

GetAHEAD bring you its annual careers event, Building The Future online. This online Zoom careers event is a week-long careers event for students and graduates with disabilities and runs from Monday 23rd – Friday 27th August.

Students and graduates will get an opportunity to experience mock interviews, CV clinics, attend workshops and also chat with employers face-to-face all from the comfort of their own home! All you need is access to the internet either from your mobile or a laptop and Zoom.

The event is free of charge and you must register in advance to access any elements of the event.

So what’s happening throughout the week? Check out the schedule below;

• Mock Interviews will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• CV Clinics will be on Tuesday and Thursday
• Employer Drop-In Sessions will be from 3pm to 4pm Monday to Thursday
• Workshops At the end of every day, at 4.15pm there will be 45 minute talks by employers and AHEAD.

AHEAD is an independent non-profit organisation working to create inclusive environments in education and employment for people with disabilities. The main focus of our work is further education and training, higher education and graduate employment.
